The Kim Tesoro Woman of the Year Award seeks to honor the impact of exceptional women in Hillsborough and Orange County.

Long-time Hillsborough resident, business owner and former Chamber CEO Kim Tesoro lost her battle with cancer in July 2023. The Award was named in Kim’s honor to celebrate her legacy of service to the community and her passion for Central Carolina Women in Business, the professional development program she helped establish. The Kim Tesoro Woman of the Year Award is presented in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
