Hillsborough and Northern Orange County offer lovely homes with a strong sense of history. There's also a strong sense of community, as evidenced by the many events that take place throughout the year, such as Hillsborough Hog Day, Last Fridays events, the annual Occaneechi Saponi Spring Pow Wow Festival, Walkable Hillsborough and many others. You can choose a home built in the late-1700's or one built earlier this year. Orange County Schools consistently rank high in the state, and dedicated Town and County workers provide service quickly and efficiently.

Commercial

Currently, the tax base of Orange County is supported largely by residential development. Therefore the County and the Town are seeking ways to change this ratio, and strongly encourage commercial development.
